Beta Agni II was the inhabited second planet in the Beta Agni system. This planet, the home of a Federation colony, was located within Sector 30. Since its settlement, the colony had recorded no significant geological activity. In 2366, the colony had a sudden tricyanate contamination of its water supply. The contamination was neutralized with hytritium supplied by a landing party from the USS Enterprise-D. The incident was later found out to be the work of Zibalian trader Kivas Fajo, as part of a scheme to capture the android Data. (TNG: "The Most Toys" )
