Fantasy Zone is a series of Defender-like scrolling Shoot 'em Ups by Sega. The series started on the Arcades, later receiving titles for the major Sega consoles of the time. The series is famous for it's cartoonish, bright pastel graphics. The series star the Opa-Opa, a sentient ship with legs which protects the titular Fantasy Zone against alien invaders and is constantly in search for his father.
