Fire Murrain (ファイヤーマーレイン Faiyā Mārein?) is a Shoulder-type cannon weapon that Vile obtains by defeating Flame Mammoth in Mega Man Maverick Hunter X. When equipped with this weapon, Vile fires a blue, energy projectile that goes only a short distance and explodes into a sphere of blue light. If the enemy attacked is destroyed, it explodes as another sphere of blue light that damages additional enemies, creating a chain reaction if they are destroyed as well. Fire Murrain uses a good chunk of weapon energy and has limited range.
