Ken Wheat was the co-director of Ewoks: The Battle for Endor. He is also the brother of the other co-director of the film, Jim Wheat. He also co-wrote the film's script with his brother. The script was based on a story by George Lucas. Wheat and his sibling's other credits include the 1999 telefilm Free Fall, which starred Hayden Christensen.
