Combine Galactic Time (CGT) was created to keep track of the events within the Star Wars Combine simulation. It uses the public release of the Star Wars Combine on December 3, 1998, as its starting point. Different from most historical calendars, the CGT has a year 0. The days within a year are counted. Most years have 365 days, leap years have 366 days. The common form of notation gives the year, followed by "D" as in "day" and the number of the current day. So the 3rd of December 1998 is 0 D 1 in CGT.
