In the alternate reality created by Nero, Jenny was a young female patient of Doctor Leonard McCoy in the 23rd century. She dreamed of being the captain of a starship with windows all the way around the bridge. After she died of a fatal illness at the age of nine, McCoy joined Starfleet, dedicating his service to her.
