Unit 509 or "It", is a geth unit that was created during the closing days of the geth/quarian war at Site B on Gei Hinnom. Retaliating against the hostile liquidation team that was sent to erase the existance of the base. Unit 509 was made an attack platform after many corporations began populating Gei Hinnom as a result of the planets vast resources.
