A loose collaborative group fronted by synth player and global-music enthusiast Ben Watkins. Juno Reactor works mostly in the trance and house genres, although with many other elements such as tribal rhythms and rock guitar (Steve Stevens is one of the collaborators). As of late 2011, the band has released seven full-length albums, numerous singles, and has scored several films including, notably, The Matrix. The group often forms bands for live performance. Juno Reactor's music and visual accompaniment might be described as a mix of African, Asian, and western U.S. styles combined with elements of science fiction.
