Shenshen Minkos was one of Glinda's friends back when she was Galinda. She attended Shiz University the same time Elphaba attended. She is of the Minkos Clan, a possible noble family of Gillikin like Glinda. She was present throughout the Gillikin section of Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, originally acting rude towards Elphaba, but eventually befriending her and joining the charmed circle. She is close friends with Pfannee and Milla. In Out of Oz, she appears briefly as one of the many teachers of Rain at St. Prowd's.
