The Union Global Football Association, commonly known by its acronym, UGFA (pronounced: aug-fa/you-jee-effay) is a football/soccer association founded by Jeff Slatter. It started in 2006 after the sport football was considered as a sparsely-played sport - so the UGFA was formed to increase the playing of soccer. The name in many parts of Antarctica of UGFA was changed to UGSA to replace the third word of the full name, "football" with "soccer" because of the different English phrases.
