The Virtual Console is service accessed via the Wii U eShop to play games from the older systems similar to the Wii's and 3DS. The service supports titles from the Famicom, Super Famicom, Gameboy Advance, MSX, PC Engine, Nintendo DS and Nintendo 64. New games are released on Wednesdays at 10:00AM JST (1:00AM UTC). If the Wednesday is a public holiday, the update will be on Thursday instead. The following titles are listed on Nintendo of Japan's official Virtual Console site. MSX titles can be found on D4 Enterprise's Virtual Console site.
