Roughly 18 miles long, Kahlo River starts at the northernmost point of Lake Whitman and winds through Wilde, Speares, and Central before joining the Waterhouse River in Wilde. The Kahlo is about 3/4 of a mile across at its widest, but is mostly much smaller and in some areas is little more than a creek. For some of its stretch in Central, it is lined with shops and quaint walkways. There are also a few points on both sides of the river which offer gondola rides.
