Bennie Hutton (2390 - 2473) was a member of the Redemption Party and was the first President of the Free Republic of Lourenne. He served two terms as Lourenne's Interim President before serving as President for two terms, after which he retired to his hometown of Ceran, Haboves. Hutton participated in public affairs and awareness campaigns on behalf of the Redemption Party but was otherwise uninvolved in politics after his retirement. Stefan Tepeu, a long-time political enemy within the Redemption Party, offered one of the first Supreme Court seats to Hutton in 2472, but Hutton turned it down. A year later, Hutton suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away at the age of 82. He is buried in the Eroncourt Republican Cemetery.
