As a Jedi, Prava learned quickly, and was soon recognized as a powerful and cunning general during the Clone Wars. However, after a time he began to lose faith in the Jedi ways. Only days later, Order 66 was issued. He was presumed dead, while in fact he had fled, with the help of his friend Senator Fid Uci'a, to the planet Placatus, where he stayed in exile for many years. The gentle atmosphere of the planet revived his trust in the Light side of the Force. Hatred was once again implanted in him, however, when the planet was attacked by an Imperial fleet. Soon after, the planet in ruins, he discovered Darth Improcerus, who he took as his apprentice. For himself he bestowed the new name of Darth Erebus.
