Airship Armada is the 21th level in the Mushroom Kingdom. It is an auto-scrolling level modeled after the airship levels in Super Mario Bros. 3. The player has to avoid Bullet Bills, flames, cannonballs, Bob-ombs, and Rocky Wrenches, all obstacles from that game's airship levels. A character must move about the entire airship before reaching the boss. Although the level is infested with artillery and enemies, it is short compared to most other levels, due to the fact that the level loops around a bit as part of the scrolling.
