The Purus jacamar or chestnut jacamar (Galbalcyrhynchus purusianus), is a species of jacamar in the Galbulidae family. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical and tropical swamps and heavily degraded former forest.
