The Thanatos Staff is a Staff introduced in Kid Icarus: Uprising. It is based off of Thanatos. It fires bat-like projectiles with its continuous fire and a creepy-looking head projectile for its charge shot. Its backwards dash charge shot unleashes a powerful floating skull in the spot just in front of its user, hovering for a few seconds before disappearing. It is the only Staff to have a homing ability, though slight. This allows the Staff to be ideal for players wanting to learn how to make a good shot with a Staff.
