Martie Draw was a musician who passed away. His death put impetus to "a strange melancholia" in his girlfriend Margo, according to Doctor Knowles in a conversation with Grimm, The Ghost Doctor. Marie, Margo's live-in nurse, kills Knowles with a knife. Subsequently, in another part of the house, Margo reveals to Grimm that she is haunted by Martie Draw, who appears to her as a grim apparition playing saxophone music. Grimm discovers Marie is a medium summoning the ghost of Martie Draw.
