It is a track-for-tack recreation of the Final Fantasy VII: Original Soundtrack, striving to remain faithful to the original work while updating the dated PSX-era synthesizers with more realistic sounding synthetic instruments. The album was created by "Final FanTim", and has no connection with, or endorsement from, Squaresoft or Nobuo Uematsu.
