Catchclaw to-Ennien was a Sivaoan who made first contact with the United Federation of Planets. She was the local doctor. Catchclaw was the mother of Grabfoot to-Ennien, TooLongTail to-Ennien, WhiteWhisker to-Ennien and EagerTalker to-Ennien. She served as a doctor to her people. Her apprentice was called Jinx to-Ennien. She tried to help the first contact team get the information they needed to stop ADF syndrome. (TOS novel: Uhura's Song)
