Mistledale was one of the regions that made up the Dalelands. It consisted mainly of a grassy vale in the midst of the elven forest, allegedly created by a falling star. This was among the more peaceful of the Dales, although as of 1372 DR, drow incursions from the forest began causing serious problems.
