Baby Kermit and the Magic Trunk is a 1987 Muppet Babies storybook featuring Baby Kermit. The title refers to "the Magic Trunk," which as part of Worlds of Wonder's talking Muppet Babies toys, was the power source, containing a remote cassette player and radio transmitter. Thus, in contrast to the older Teddy Ruxpin toys which used a cassette player in the toys themselves, and where the secondary Grubby figure had to be attached, all figures would talk and come to life as if by magic.
