The Monocle Beamer-Ray was a weapon used by Haunter. Haunter used his Monocle Beamer-Ray to force the dinosaurs brought into the present by Mysteria to do his bidding and begin to destroy the Golden Gate Bridge. However, the ray had to be kept in contact with the dinosaur in order to control it. When Tracy the Gorilla went jet skiing behind Ghost Buggy, he caused a wave to splash over Haunter, who subsequently lost his grip on the monocle which in turn released the Tyranosaurus Rex.
