The New Order of the Sith Lords was formed from the remains of the Order Secret Sith on Kashyyyk in 17 BBY. The older Order was a secret order started by Darth Venom in 19 BBY on Coruscant when he took on an apprentice. The older order was a lesser order than the dominate order, the Order of the Sith Lords, and planned to overthrow the old order and replace it as the new dominate order. But when the Sith Lord was slain by his master and in his second life, the order of the secret Sith fell to Darth Caluges, Venom’s apprentice. Caluges did not learn of the death of his master at the time, as he was on Coruscant on a secret hangar, in his pod which would launch at his master’s command. After Venom’s death, Vader was sent to find his Jedi Mentor.
