This ship was piloted by Santos during the Maquis attack. After the convoy was revealed to be a trap, planned by Starfleet to neutralize Maquis resistance, Squad Leader ordered the retreat of the rest of the fleet. (TNG: "Preemptive Strike" ) The cockpit used for Squad Leader was a redress of the Type 6 shuttlecraft cockpit. This is different from the cockpit used by the Maquis fighter Alpha Seven.
