Highlord Tirion Fordring is a central protagonist in the World of Warcraft MMORPG. A former nobleman of Lordaeron and a master paladin, Fordring served as the Alliance's governor of the area of the Eastern Kingdoms that would later become the Western Plaguelands, "ruling" out of his family holding of Mardenholde Keep in the village of Hearthglen. He served in this capacity until he rescued an orc named Eitrigg from execution, thus causing him to be exiled from the lands of the Alliance.
