Harry was a fellow-diner at the restaurant/club that Dave Smith took the Ogden family to in June 1970. Well into the evening, Harry invited Hilda Ogden to take to the dance floor with him, seemingly taken with her looks as Hilda was wearing her silver white wig at the time. He soon regretted his impulsiveness when realised that Hilda was three sheets to the wind after generous helpings of Dave Smith's champagne and slurred on at him about how her husband Stan wasn't demonstrative enough to her.
