Preto Heiron was a nobleman of House Heiron who was enegaged to Governor Alra Kio of the planet Chusuk. At the announcement of his engagement to the Governor, an assassination attempt was made on his life, and that of the Governor. Due to the foresight of young Paul Atreides, Heiron was pushed aside by Paul, and his life, and that of the Governor, were saved.
