Evolved from a river-dweller, the amphibious Abinyshi developed sentience and began to form societies on their homeworld during the height of the Infinite Empire's dominance as a galactic power. There were two genders apparent in the species, with the females members of the race having a slightly more yellowed complexion then their male counterparts. Spawning every other year, Abinyshi hatched from clear eggs, which were required to sit and swell in water or risk drying out. Swimming around as legless tadpoles for their first four months of life, Abinyshi quickly grew legs and arms and developed sight before reaching a standard year old. While only two or three would survive until this stage, they were strong and healthy and rarely suffered fatalities due to illness during childhood after
