Created as a mobile firebase, much like the Empire's AT-AT, the slow and ponderous Mark 12 Heavy Crawler is a dangerous adversary. It boasts a total of six laser cannons and two turbolaser cannons, as well as long range missile launchers. It is equipped with a anti-missile system, which can eliminate most incoming missiles in a matter of seconds, and has armour able to withstand several turbolaser blasts.
