Greater Identify is a utility spell in ADOM. It allows the caster to learn about special characteristics of an item in his/her possession. Casting Greater Identify will prompt the player to choose an item (either worn/wielded or in inventory) and will reveal its stats as well as intrinsics it confers and hidden features. The B/U/C status of the item will also be displayed and remembered by the PC. It is worth noting that the spell does not always display full information about the item (see below). Only blessed scrolls of great identify will always reveal all properties of items.
