The RG9QM is essentially a nine-string version of the RG8FM, but with a quilted rather than flamed top. It comes equipped with Ibanez Quantum pickups and a fixed bridge and features a 28" scale neck. A version without the exotic quilted maple top, the RG9, was introduced in 2015.
