The United Nations Command was the name of the organization reformed by the countries that retained membership in the United Nations after the Afri-Asian-Middle East Federation was formed and many formed UN affiliated countries withdrew their membership to join the newly formed Federation. After World War III ended in the year 2027, and the UN began rebuilding and many members that left were allowed to return did so, the organization took back its old name, the name it still uses today.
