The Green Star was a star in the of Stars Wall of Stars that held the C.R.O.N. system. The only reason he can survive in the star is because of a sphere of pure energy that protects him. When seen on Nui (island) Mata Nui, it was considered an omen of bad fortune because the first time the Turaga saw it, the next day a whole village was wiped out by a Nui-Jaga. However, the matoran on several other islands saw it as a good omen.
