The Landstriders are long-legged quadrupeds in The Dark Crystal. The creatures are enemies of the Garthim warrior. Although they are less powerful than the Garthim, they compensate with great speed and quick-acting intelligence. When a landstrider fell in battle, its flesh was highly prized by the Skeksis, who considered it a great delicacy. A landstrider is played by a performer on four stilts.
