The Haqtaj class is a small scoutship class used by the Klingons in the 2370s. They have crews of less than ten, can reach speeds of warp nine and are equipped with cloaking devices. In 2377, Lorgh sent Elias Vaughn the design specifications of the Haqtaj class to help the USS Defiant find Taran'atar, who had commandeered the IKS noH'pach, a Haqtaj class starship.
