Marge Thompson was married Donald Thompson in the late 1950s. Her daughter, Nancy Thompson, was born in 1966. In 1968 she and Donald saw how child-killer Freddy Krueger was announced not guilty and participated with other parents in killing him without a trial. In the early 1970s she and Donald got divorced. Nancy Thompson stayed with her mother.
