Elina Ethers (Japanese:シントキ ユウラ Shintoki Yuura) is the Gym Leader of Mysantic City's Gym, known officially as the Mysantic Gym. She hands out the Phasing Badge to trainers who defeat her. She specializes in Ghost-type Pokémon. Her mother, Lilly Ethers, gives the player character the HM05 Containing the move Waterfall, after beating the Mysantic Gym and stopping Team Sol's plans in Mysantic. She is a recurring character after the player beats her, appearing at several moments. After beating the game, she becomes an available partner and opponent at the Ennoh Battle Frontier.
