Dandin the Swordcarrier was said to be the great-grandchild of Gonff the Mousethief and Columbine, grandson of Gonff II, distantly related to Abbess Bryony, and the ancestor of Bisky, Samolus Fixa, the Gonfelin Thieves, and Andio. Brother Hubert gave Dandin a flute that once belonged to Gonff, which was given to Gonff by Abbess Germaine. He was chosen by the Spirit of Martin the Warrior to wield his Sword.
