Benjamin Rush (January 4, 1746 [The old style date before calendar reform was December 24, 1745] – April 19, 1813) was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. Rush was a local leader in Philadelphia, and was a Doctor, politician, social reformer, educator and humanitarian, as well as founding Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania
