The Halt was a Delivery/LE (Law Enforcement)-class law enforcement ship which usually patrolled space looking to pick up anyone trying to escape from the ground-based Judicial Department agents in a starship. Other times they and the Navy's Delivery-class Q-ships were combatting pirates. Her first commander was Captain Mikel Targan, who commanded her until his retirement in 944 ABY, next she was captained by Captain Jimi Olgen.
