Fan-canon is a system used by writers of Star Wars fan-fiction which has an established continuity of their written works or ideas. This system does not necessarily follow official Star Wars canon; an example of a fan-canon continuity that does not follow official Lucasfilm canon is the Alternative Star Wars Saga.
