Like the original, the RG770DX reissue features a maple fingerboard with color-matched sharktooth inlay, a double locking tremolo, the original Tilt Joint neck joint and a clear pickguard. The pickups are recreations of the original pickups also made by DiMarzio. New feature is the five-piece maple/walnut neck. The RG770DX reissue was produced for only one year.
