Kelly is contacted by a lawyer who believes she is the daughter of a wealthy hotelier and heiress to millions. She travels to San Diego to meet him, and just as she begins to accept her new identity, he dies under mysterious circumstances. Meanwhile, both she and Kris fall for the lawyer.
