The Iceland is a frozen planet which was once home to Frieza's race, however, massive climate changes caused the planet to become uninhabitable. It is now used as a prison for the Planet Trade Organization's enemies, traitors of the Organization, or rivals of the Organization. The cold is used as a method of torture, and the prisoners are left alone to suffer without supervision. The prison was primarily used during the earlier parts of the Planet Trade Organization's history, before it had the territory and resources to house a large amount of prisoners.
