[Source] The Carreras system was a star system located within the Outer Rim region of the galaxy, just beyond the veil of the Surd Nebula. The system consisted of Carreras Major, homeworld of the Shifala, that was governed by Biala, and Carreras Minor. Carreras Minor had a moon, where Ania Solo maintained her junkyard. In 138 ABY, as part of an effort by Empress Marasiah Fel to build a galaxy-spanning system of communications arrays, Imperial Knight Yalta Val was dispatched to the system to oversee the construction of the Carreras G51 communications array.
