[Source] The gimer stick was a wooden cane used by Grand Master Yoda during the last decades of the Galactic Republic, and up until his death shortly before the Battle of Endor. The stick was made from the gimer bush, which grew on many worlds including Kashyyyk and Dagobah. At some point prior to the Battle of Kashyyyk, Yoda received a gimer staff as a gift from the Wookiees, although he left this stick behind on Kashyyyk following the execution of Order 66.
