Masjid Al-Mamoor, also known as the Jamaica Muslim Center, is one of the largest multi-purpose Muslim establishments in the United States. This center works as a Mosque, with sitting arrangements for both women and men, school for children (for both boys and girls), and as a place for religious gathering, Milad-Mahfil, dinner etc. Started by mostly Bangladeshi-Americans and being located in a heavily Bangladeshi-American locality in Jamaica, NY, this mosque is frequented by Muslims of all walks of lives, from almost all regions of the globe currently residing in the United States.
