Hostille Rator was a Clan-chief (named as such by Bentract himself) of the Bentract T'lan Imass. He, along with Til'Aras Benok and Gr'istanas Ish'ilm, heard the pleas for help of a failing Bonecaster in the Refugium, whose pleas they responded to rather than to the call of the T'lan Imass Second Gathering.
