Scythe 3 was a modified TIE/LN starfighter that was stationed aboard the second Death Star in 4 ABY as part of Scythe Squadron. Piloted by Lieutenant Hebsly, Scythe 3 featured laser cannons specifically enhanced for destroying asteroids in the Anoat system and P-w702 ion maneuvering jets added by Death Star technicians to improve performance. Scythe 3 pursued Rebel starfighters outside Death Star II in the Battle of Endor.
